UK housebuilder trials affordable carbon negative homes

St. Modwen Homes has launched two new carbon negative properties at its Heathy Wood development in Copthorne, Sussex, UK.

The company claims it the first major UK housebuilder to have developed and completed affordable homes of this kind. The new homes are part of a trial intended to demonstrate the potential and scalability of energy efficient homes.
