Savills has appointed Phil Pearson as a director in its energy consultancy services team, which forms part of the firm’s wider Savills Earth division.

Pearson has over 14 years’ experience in commercialisation, financing, deployment and regulatory development of low carbon and renewable technologies in the commercial and consulting sector.

Previous roles in the energy sector include time at Hoare Lea and WSP as well as operating a UK subsidiary of Schneider Electric, which deployed some of the first battery storage projects in the UK. At Savills, he will work with clients to deliver consultancy services across energy, carbon and economics.

Nick Green, head of energy and infrastructure and director of Savills Earth, said: “This appointment allows Savills to continue to deliver strategic advice to the real estate sector at a time when clients are seeking to decarbonise their portfolios as well as facing challenges of securing the connections they require from the electricity grid.”
