Indian occupiers are prioritising sustainability

Sustainability is a priority for occupiers in India, a new survey has found.
Property adviser JLL surveyed 99 occupiers and 76 investors with exposure to Indian real estate and found that occupiers were ahead in terms of their sustainability actions and requirements. For example 70% said they would pay higher rents for a certified sustainable property and 65% have carbon emissions targets as part of their sustainability strategy.
